When defending individuals, ECKSTEIN & KOLLEGEN acts as a strategic advisor to clients at all stages of criminal proceedings.

This includes representation in investigative proceedings vis-à-vis the competent investigative authorities, such as public prosecutors, tax investigators, all police and other investigative authorities. Often, this is the first time the client has come into contact with the investigating authorities. Especially at the beginning therefore, we act promptly and closely accompany searches or arrests. We provide immediate support to affected relatives. The high degree of specialization and personal commitment of all ECKSTEIN & KOLLEGEN employees form the basis for achieving the best possible result in the interest of the client and the trustful cooperation thereby established.

Once the investigation has been completed, we also defend individual defendants in the so-called interlocutory proceedings and, in particular, at any subsequent main hearing, both of which are particularly stressful for the accused. Through strategically skilled preparation and adequate representation in the main hearing, we achieve the best possible results.

We are also active in the subsequent appeal instances such as the main appeal hearing and the appeal.
