Stefanie Amann advises and defends individuals and companies nationally and internationally, focusing on all areas of commercial criminal law and criminal tax law as well as fine proceedings. Ms. Amann is also active in the field of general criminal law and also defends clients nationwide in this area. She therefore has extensive litigation experience.

Career<\/strong>

Stefanie Amann studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich with a focus on criminal justice, criminal defence and prevention and in particular commercial criminal law.

She quickly made criminal law the focus of her studies, even working in the field of criminal law at a Munich commercial and tax law firm while studying and completing her legal clerkship.

After sitting the First State Examination in Law, Ms. Amann completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. As part of her training, she worked for a Munich criminal defence attorney and for the Munich II Public Prosecutor’s Office. Ms. Amann completed her elective training in London at the Barristers’ Chambers 2 Bedford Row with one of the most renowned criminal law barristers in the United Kingdom.

She was admitted to the bar in June 2018 and joined Eckstein & Kollegen exclusively as a criminal defence lawyer in July 2018. Since October 2021 she has been a specialist lawyer for criminal law.
