Attorney at law Benjamin Zölls studied law with focus on “criminal justice, criminal defense and prevention” at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, followed by his legal clerkship at the Munich Higher Regional Court.
After having been admitted to the bar in 2012, he worked as a defense attorney for two well-known law firms in Munich. Since 2017 Attorney at law Banjamin Zölls is an accredited specialist lawyer for criminal law.
Benjamin Zölls has forensic experience in all areas of criminal law. His expertise also includes advice on compliance management systems and specific compliance measures from a criminal law perspective.
He has also several years of in-house experience as a compliance officer in the regulated financial sector. In 2018 he moved to a Munich insurance company as an in-house lawyer and headed the compliance and data protection staff until the end of 2022.
Attorney at law Zölls has been working at the law firm Eckstein & Kollegen since January 2023.
He advises and defends clients and companies in all areas of criminal law, in particular commercial criminal law.
